On Time Elite (OTE) has played a pivotal role in the evolution of on-location vehicle services. We provide an array of specialized units tailored for the diverse requirements in the entertainment industry. These units, ranging from film production buses to makeup trailers and talent greenrooms, are not just about transportation. They are integral to the success of various productions, including films, fashion campaigns, and more. On-location filming in NYC is legendary–take advantage of the opportunities!
OTE Units Can Handle Anything
The 1990s marked a period of maximalism for OTE, with their fleet reflecting the grandeur of the era. Their sleek, all-black coaches were perfect for housing talent in music videos and fashion projects, which were prominent at the time. Clients with massive budgets would often use multiple units for different purposes. They would have separate trailers for artists, their team, wardrobe, makeup, and production. These units were especially beneficial for fashion shoots. They featured built-in racks and multiple entries to facilitate the fast-paced environment of photo shoots and filming.
Moving into the 2000s, OTE continued to adapt and innovate, despite not introducing new vehicles for some time. Their involvement expanded to include political campaigns and fashion shows, showcasing new collections and supporting events like Super Bowls and presidential inaugurations. This era underscored OTE’s commitment to creating unique, one-of-a-kind units focused on various aspects of entertainment, whether it was fashion, production, or providing holding space for artists.
Choosing the Right Unit Makes All the Difference
When you have everything you need at your fingertips, work is a pleasure. Everything runs smoothly when the makeup artists have everything they need and the director has instant access to technology.
For producers and directors, choosing the right on-location vehicle is crucial. OTE’s tailored units offer not just mobility but also a conducive environment for creativity and productivity. These units can be customized to meet the specific needs of a production, ensuring that every aspect of the on-set experience, from makeup to relaxation spaces for talent, is catered for.
HMU Trailers for Fashion Shoots
HMU trailers are specifically designed for hair and makeup activities, equipped with features crucial for these tasks. This includes proper lighting, which is vital for makeup artists to accurately see and apply makeup. Natural light sources, such as skylights, are particularly important for preparing actors for outdoor scenes, ensuring makeup looks consistent with natural lighting conditions.
At OTE our on-location units have an ample number of electrical outlets to accommodate the various appliances used by hair and makeup artists. You can plug in your hair straighteners, curlers, steamers, and irons with no worries. This ensures that all necessary tools can be used simultaneously without any power issues.
Greenrooms for On-Location Filming
Luxury trailers can be utilized as greenrooms for on-location filming in several effective ways. These trailers, designed to be comfortable and versatile, provide a private and relaxed environment for actors, artists, and crew members during film and TV productions.
Luxury trailers offer a “home away from home” experience with features like living rooms, full kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. This comfort is crucial for actors and crew members to relax and unwind between takes or scenes. The mobility of these trailers is a significant advantage, especially for shoots in remote or varying locations. They can be easily transported to wherever the production is taking place, providing consistent and reliable facilities regardless of location.
In essence, luxury trailers as greenrooms provide a crucial space for actors and crew members to prepare, rest, and refresh themselves during the demanding schedule of on-location filming. Their versatility, comfort, and customization options make them an indispensable part of modern film and TV productions
On-Location Shooting Can Feel Like You’re in the Studio
With OTE, you can take some of the unpredictability out of your outdoor projects. With a warm, dry space to relax and prepare, your entire team can be on their A-game.
In summary, our on-location vehicles are much more than a mode of transport. They are a critical component of the production process, offering tailored solutions that cater to the unique demands of different projects. Our evolution over the decades demonstrates our commitment to innovation, quality, and adaptability. We look forward to supporting your next project!
