6 Ways to Spoil Your Talent

When you land a big-name model, actress or photographer, it’s time to make a good impression–the best impression! Spoil your talent and If all goes well, they’ll work with you again, and you can establish a long-term professional relationship.

But what should you do to make them feel valued? How can you impress your talent? We’ve put together six ways to spoil your talent and keep them returning to you time and again.

1 – Keep Them Warm (or Cool!)

Costumes and wardrobe rarely match the weather on shooting day, so it’s easy to feel too warm or too cold. Instead of remembering how they shivered and sweated during the shoot, leave them with memories of comfort and luxury.

A climate-controlled talent motorhome, like our VIP Suite, is a sumptuous home away from home. Kept at whatever temperature they prefer, the Suite has a full open kitchen, ultra-leather sofas, and a 49-inch LG Smart TV. Built equally for comfort and show, the VIP will spoil your talent and keep them coming back to you.

2 – Provide Good Eats

Low blood sugar and long workdays are a recipe for irritability. Keep your talent satisfied with delicious, healthy meals and snacks. Ask them ahead of time about food allergies and sensitivities, so you have items they’ll eat and enjoy.

Talk to us about our catering services. We can coordinate your meal and snack requirements, leaving you free to manage the tasks only you can handle while we spoil your talent.

3 – Let Them Rest

Everyone works better when they’re well-rested, so provide your talent with a place to lie down and catch a few Zzz’s. Many of our trailers feature queen-size beds with light-canceling shades, so your talent can nap when necessary.

4 – Make Them Feel at Home

Spoil your talent. Please don’t make your talent rough it. Give them a home away from home where they feel valued, relaxed, and, yes, spoiled.

Provide amenities like full hair, makeup, and wardrobe stations; custom LED lighting; fine leather couches; and a complete entertainment center. Make sure they have places to charge their devices and hang their clothing. Show them where the chilled beverages are waiting, and offer them privacy during their downtime.

5 – Give Them a Heads Up (Provide a Professional Call Sheet)

Prove your professionalism by providing a comprehensive call sheet to everyone involved in the project. Your talent will appreciate your transparency, and they’ll go into the day knowing exactly what to expect.

What should you include in your call sheet?

  • Job name
  • Shoot dates
  • Locations
  • Team information
  • Weather

We’ve put together a handy guide to assist you with creating call sheets. You can also contact us for more information and additional ways to spoil your talent.

6 – Protect Them from Viruses

We’re all hyper-aware of the dangers posed by viruses this year. To protect our clients and their talent, we’ve researched healthy best practices and invested in new equipment to sanitize our luxury dressing rooms and equipment thoroughly.

Watch our COVID-19 video to learn about the procedures we’ve developed to clean and disinfect each unit. We can even offer lab testing, so you can ensure your talent that they’re absolutely safe.

It’s been a rough year for all of us. Show your talent how much they mean to you by spoiling them during your next project. They’ll want to work with you in the future, and they’ll recommend you to their associates.
